About this work

This handcrafted Pietra Dura marble plate celebrates the lotus, a timeless symbol of purity, balance, and renewal in Indian art and culture. Crafted from genuine Vietnamese White Marble, it features a distinctive lotus flower made with unique light blue stone inlay, complemented by green stone detailing and an intricate border of Golden Mother-of-Pearl (MOP).

The delicate blue petals create a soft, elegant contrast against the luminous white marble, while the golden border adds subtle lustre and refinement. Each stone element is carefully selected, shaped, and fitted by skilled artisans in Agra, India, reflecting the precision of traditional marble inlay craftsmanship.

Distinguished by its unusual light blue stone, premium materials, and graceful scalloped silhouette, this individually handcrafted piece brings a fresh interpretation of Indian artistic heritage to sophisticated interiors and collectors' spaces.
